Demos and importing
How many demos does Washlora have?
The collection has 105 specialised laundry business niches. Each niche has three home layouts (Home 1 Signature, Home 2 Service, Home 3 Editorial) in four editor versions, so you can choose from 315 home layouts.
Where do I import a niche?
Open Appearance → Import a niche, select a niche and click Import selected niche. See Niche Import.
Will an import delete my existing pages?
No. Imports add content and do not remove your existing pages. A repeat import recognizes posts it imported before and preserves edited content. It does change menus, so make a backup first.
Are demo images included?
The importer can download royalty-free demo photography when Download demo images is checked and your server has an internet connection. Uncheck it for a content-only import. Imported media keeps its original licence, so replace it with your own images where needed.
Can I switch a page from Gutenberg to Elementor?
No. The editor links switch between separate pages and do not convert a page between formats. Choose one editor and use its page versions.
Where can I watch video tutorials?
An 11-episode video series covers installation, importing, the page editors, customisation, booking, the shop and Washlora Agent. The videos are embedded on the matching guides, and the full list is under Video tutorials on the documentation home.
Installation and requirements
Which WordPress and PHP versions do I need?
WordPress 6.6 or newer (tested up to 7.1) and PHP 8.0 or newer. For imports and editor sessions, ask your host for about 256 MB of PHP memory and an execution time of around 300 seconds. See Installation and Requirements.
Which file do I upload to install the theme?
Upload washlora-theme.zip under Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme. Do not upload the complete download package. If WordPress reports a missing stylesheet, you uploaded the wrong file. Then install washlora-core.zip and the Washlora Native Layouts plugin from your package.
Which plugins do I need?
Washlora Core and Washlora Native Layouts are required. Also install the free WordPress Importer, WooCommerce and Contact Form 7, plus the editor you will use (Elementor, WPBakery Page Builder or Classic Editor; Gutenberg is built in).
Should I use the child theme?
Yes, if you want to add your own code. Install washlora-child.zip and keep custom PHP in the child theme or a companion plugin.
Why do some folders and plugin names still contain "laundry"?
Washlora is the product name. The installable files are washlora-theme.zip, washlora-core.zip and washlora-child.zip. Some internal folder, plugin and code names still use the older laundry slug so that existing sites and saved content keep working. This is expected and does not affect how the theme looks or works.
Editing and design
Which page editors are supported?
Gutenberg, Elementor, WPBakery Page Builder and the Classic Editor. See Editing with Four Page Editors.
My colour change does not appear on a niche page. Why?
Native niche pages have their own identity and design layers. Set the colours in Appearance → Niche identity and Niche design first, then check the global options and clear your caches.
Which sliders can I use?
Smart Slider 3, Slider Revolution and Master Slider are supported. Prime Slider and Serious Slider are also used on the live preview. Premium plugins are not distributed with licence keys.
Why does my header or footer change in Design Studio not appear?
Design Studio saves the colours, body background, text colour and content width for the front end. For the active header and footer use the Header / Footer Generator in Washlora AI Studio, which offers five header presets and four footer presets. See Branding, Design and Content.
Does the theme translate my content?
No. Washlora is translation-ready and includes an RTL stylesheet, but you provide translated content. See Languages, RTL and Accessibility.
Is this documentation available in my language?
Yes. The documentation is available in 21 languages, including right-to-left languages such as Arabic, Persian and Urdu. Use the language selector in the top bar.
Shop, WooCommerce and payments
Does Washlora work with WooCommerce?
Yes. The shop, product pages, Cart, Checkout and My Account use native WooCommerce, so coupons, taxes, shipping and order history follow your WooCommerce settings. The theme adds a searchable service catalogue, quick view, saved services, compare and a laundry bag cart drawer. See Commerce Studio and Shop.
What do Quick view, Saved services and Compare do?
Quick view shows the live price, image, service description and care details in a pop-up, and simple services can be added to the cart from it. Saved services keeps a short list for later. Compare shows up to four services side by side using current WooCommerce prices and the care facts you entered.
Do saved services sync between my customers' devices?
No. Saved services stores up to 30 product IDs in the visitor's own browser. It does not sync between accounts or devices, and prices and availability refresh when the list opens.
How do I add price unit, turnaround and care details to a service?
Open Products → All Products → Edit and use the General product-data panel: Price unit, Typical turnaround, What is included, Before collection and Care limitations. Blank fields are omitted. Replace the demo text and fill in only claims your business can fulfil.
How do service options such as bag sizes work?
Option buttons use native WooCommerce variable-product attributes and variation availability. The ordinary selector remains as a fallback without JavaScript. In Quick view, services with options link to their product page.
Can I offer services that are priced after assessment?
Yes. The live demo includes a quote-only service (Commercial linen care assessment) that shows a Request a quote action instead of a price.
What pickup details does the checkout collect?
The checkout includes preferred pickup date, collection window, care preference and instructions. These are requests, not reserved capacity. See Booking, Pickup and Operations.
Is a booking request the same as an order?
No. A request is not a paid or confirmed order, and booking dates do not reserve courier capacity. Agree your own acceptance and confirmation process. See Booking, Pickup and Operations.
Does Washlora include a payment gateway?
No. Checkout uses native WooCommerce. The public demo enables Pay on collection or delivery. Card and wallet payments need a compatible provider plugin and your own merchant connection. Importing a niche does not activate any gateway. See Commerce Studio.
Does Locker Pickup unlock physical lockers?
No. It is a laundry-service presentation without any locker hardware integration.
My booking emails do not arrive.
Washlora does not send emails for booking, quote or recurring-pickup requests; it stores them as records. Check the stored requests and add your own notification workflow if you need alerts. See Hosting and Troubleshooting.
AI Studio and Washlora Agent
Do I need an AI API key for the website generator?
No. The generator is template-based and runs locally on your site. See AI Studio.
What is Washlora Agent?
Washlora Agent is a chat assistant inside your WordPress admin. You tell it what you need, in plain words, and it carries out supported site tasks such as creating pages, products and coupons, checking site health, showing recent orders or bookings, and answering how-to questions. Open Washlora AI Studio → Washlora Agent. See Assistant and Layout Studio.
Does Washlora Agent need an API key?
No. Without a key it runs on built-in rules for about 40 common tasks and how-to answers, with no external service. If you add a Claude API key under Washlora Agent → Settings, it can understand almost any request. The key is stored in your site database and used only for requests from the WordPress admin, and usage is billed to your own Claude account.
Which languages does Washlora Agent understand?
You can write to it in English, Roman Urdu or Urdu.
Where can I see what the Agent changed, and can I undo it?
Open Agent Activity (the activity log). It lists every change the agent applied, newest first. Use the chat to undo recent tasks.
Licence, updates and support
How do I update the theme?
Back up your files and database first. Download the latest package from your ThemeForest Downloads page, upload the new theme ZIP under Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme, then upload Washlora Core and Washlora Native Layouts the same way under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Test on staging first. See Launch, Updates and Support.
Can I use one licence on several websites?
Your ThemeForest licence covers one end product. See the Envato licence terms for the full terms.
Can I read the documentation offline?
Yes. Download the HTML package from the Downloads section of the documentation home, extract it and open index.html. Keep the assets and screenshots folders beside it. Offline, video embeds appear as links instead of players, and the online guide is the current reference.
Where do I get support?
Use the support contact on your purchased item page or the AdnanThemes support center. See Launch, Updates and Support for what to include.
