Requirements

Washlora is built for laundromats, dry cleaning, pickup and delivery, commercial laundry and linen services. Check these requirements before you install.

Item	Requirement
WordPress	6.6 or newer. The theme is tested up to WordPress 7.1.
PHP	8.0 or newer. Test any PHP upgrade on staging first.
HTTPS	Recommended for booking forms, WooCommerce checkout and customer accounts.
PHP memory and time	For imports and editor sessions, ask your host for 256 MB or more of PHP memory and an execution allowance of around 300 seconds. These are practical starting points, not certified minimums.
Upload limits	Set `upload_max_filesize` and `post_max_size` above the size of the ZIP you upload.
Hosting features	Image processing, ZIP extraction, available disk space for media, and outbound downloads if you want the importer to download demo images.

Staging first. Install on a staging site with a restorable database and file backup before you touch a live website. Use Tools → Site Health → Info to collect your real WordPress, PHP and server values.

What is in the download

The release folder contains these parts:

Theme — the parent theme. Its installable ZIP is washlora-theme.zip and it must contain style.css at the top of the theme folder.
Child-Theme — an optional child theme (washlora-child.zip) for your own customizations.
Plugins — the required companion plugins Washlora Core (washlora-core.zip) and Washlora Native Layouts (laundry-native-layouts.zip).

Naming. Washlora is the product name. The installable files are washlora-theme.zip, washlora-core.zip and washlora-child.zip. Some internal folder and plugin names still use the older laundry slug so that existing content keeps working.

Upload the theme ZIP, not the complete download. If WordPress reports a missing stylesheet, you uploaded the complete package instead of the installable theme ZIP.

Install the theme

Extract the purchased package on your computer and find the installable theme ZIP.
In WordPress open Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme.
Upload the theme ZIP, install it and click Activate.
Optional: install washlora-child.zip the same way and activate the child theme instead, so your code changes survive updates.

Install the companion plugins

Open Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin for the plugin ZIPs supplied in your package, and use Plugins → Add New for plugins from the WordPress directory.

Third-party licences. Premium third-party plugins are not distributed with licence keys or credentials. Use your own valid licence where one is required.

The Washlora setup notice

After activation, Washlora checks which plugins are present and shows a Washlora setup notice on the Dashboard, Plugins and Themes screens. Washlora Core and Washlora Native Layouts are required; the notice also lists the recommended plugins. Use Dismiss this notice to hide it until the list of missing plugins changes.
