Before you import
- Install and activate Washlora, Washlora Core, Washlora Native Layouts, WooCommerce and Contact Form 7. See Installation and Requirements.
- Install the free WordPress Importer from the WordPress plugin directory.
- Activate Elementor or WPBakery if you intend to edit their versions. Gutenberg and Classic layouts use the native layout plugin.
- BuddyPress, bbPress and Easy Digital Downloads are optional. The importer does not activate them. Their content stays available when you reactivate the plugin.
- Make a database and file backup. Importing adds content and changes menus.
Import your niche
- Open Appearance → Import a niche. Demo Setup opens this same screen.
- Select one niche from the catalogue. Every niche has three home layouts in four editor versions.
- Under Editors to import, tick only the editor you will use (Gutenberg, Elementor, WPBakery or Classic). Importing all four creates about 110 pages per niche. The first ticked editor in this order supplies the menu and the homepage option: Gutenberg, Elementor, WPBakery, Classic. You can import another editor for the same niche later.
- Leave Download demo images checked to download images (this needs an internet connection). Uncheck it for a content-only import, then add your own images.
- Optionally choose the imported Gutenberg Home 1 as your front page. Otherwise your current front page stays selected.
- Click Import selected niche and wait for the result. Review the log for any download failures.
- Open Pages and choose the home and editor version you want. Set the front page in Settings → Reading.
After import
- Review the niche navigation, internal links, product prices, service coverage, contact-form destination, collection rules and legal pages.
- Product and image references are remapped to local IDs. A local enquiry form is created for the imported contact sections — configure and test its delivery before you accept enquiries.
- Imported media remains subject to its original licence. Replace sample names, addresses, claims and prices with your real business details.
- No payment gateway is enabled by the importer.
- If your server needs it, open Settings → Permalinks and click Save once to regenerate rewrite rules.
The one-click demo screen
A second importer is available at Appearance → Import Washlora Demo. It selects an available native home page and assigns the niche menu.
- Back up your site. This importer changes the front-page assignment and the primary menu.
- Choose the builder: Gutenberg, Elementor, WPBakery or Classic Editor.
- Choose the niche and the home layout: Home 1 Signature, Home 2 Service or Home 3 Editorial.
- Click Import Washlora Demo and wait for the Demo ready notice.
- Open Settings → Reading and confirm the selected static homepage. Check the primary menu and every service and contact link.
The older combined content.xml is not the current 105-niche import source.
Find your niche
- Open the live Demos page and use Search demos or the service-category filters.
- Use the Home 1, Home 2 and Home 3 links on a demo card to compare the starting layouts.
- Inside a home page, use the editor links to view the Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery and Classic versions.
- Recent additions are Tent & Awning Care, Laundry Locker Pickup, Handbag & Textile Bag Care, Pram & Stroller Fabric Care and Studio Backdrop Laundry.
Demo card photographs are service inspiration, not miniature screenshots of the complete page.

Optional integrations and performance
Enable BuddyPress, bbPress or Easy Digital Downloads only when your site needs community, forum or digital-download functionality. Core shopping scripts load on commerce pages and on pages that contain shopping components, including the native editor versions.
Verification scope
All 105 export files passed checksum and home-entry checks. Laundromat was imported with media and rendered all 12 home and editor versions on a test installation. Dry Cleaning was also imported with media, using different local IDs.
