About the run club

Coaching that makes running clearer, safer and easier to sustain.

We combine individual planning with supportive group sessions, so runners understand what to do, why it matters and how to adapt when life changes.

Why we exist

Too many runners train hard without a repeatable structure.

Athlorix Running Club was created to replace guesswork with practical coaching. Beginners receive a safe start, experienced runners gain focused progression and every athlete learns how easy running, quality work, strength and recovery fit together.

Our coaching principles

Progress without unnecessary complexity.

01

Consistency first

A manageable weekly rhythm comes before ambitious pace targets.

02

Easy means easy

Low-intensity volume supports adaptation and protects quality sessions.

03

Strength supports running

Calf, hip, trunk and posterior-chain work improve durability.

04

Plans must adapt

Training changes with fatigue, schedule, injury history and race timing.

How coaching works

One plan, regular feedback and clear decisions.

  1. 1

    Initial assessment

History, recent volume, current pace, strength and goal.

  2. 2

    Weekly structure

Run sessions, strength and recovery placed around availability.

  3. 3

    Ongoing review

Adjustments based on effort, attendance, soreness and race feedback.

The club environment

Professional standards without an intimidating culture.

Every pace belongs

Groups are organised by purpose and effort, not ego.

Coaches stay visible

Briefing, pacing guidance and post-session feedback are part of every coached run.

Safety is practical

Routes, weather, visibility and return-to-running decisions are planned clearly.

Facilities and routes

Training environments chosen for the session purpose.

Track access

Measured intervals, controlled pace work and technique sessions.

Riverside routes

Flat, traffic-light routes for easy and long group runs.

Hill circuit

Strength endurance, uphill mechanics and controlled descending.

Strength studio

Runner-specific strength, mobility and return-to-running support.

“The club is organised enough to improve my running but flexible enough to fit around work and family.”
