Camp structure

What a competition camp looks like.

A camp runs eight to ten weeks. Volume rises for six weeks, then tapers, and every athlete is weight-managed rather than crash-cutting.

  • Two sessions a day, six days a week in camp
  • Nutrition and weight plan written by Aoife
  • Sparring rounds logged and reviewed on video
  • Full corner team travels to every show
  1. Weeks 1 to 6Volume build: sparring, wrestling and strength blocks.
  2. Weeks 7 to 9Sharpening: shorter rounds, tactics and opponent study.
  3. Fight weekTaper, weight management and travel with the corner team.
