Every coach here has competed. Between them the team covers boxing, wrestling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, strength and the corner work that goes with competition.

Marcus Ellery
Head coach, boxing
Former national amateur champion who has cornered over two hundred bouts. Marcus runs the fight team and the technical boxing classes.

Nadia Okafor
Coach, boxing and womens programme
Fought at national level before moving into coaching. Nadia leads the beginner intakes and the three womens-only sessions each week.

Tomas Vidal
Coach, MMA and wrestling
A freestyle wrestling background with ten years in MMA. Tomas handles takedowns, cage work and the clinch.

Ravi Menon
Coach, Brazilian jiu-jitsu
Black belt under a Rio lineage, teaching both gi and no-gi. Ravi runs the grappling ladder and the submission clinics.

Sports science graduate who builds the camp blocks, testing and return-to-training plans for injured members.

Dean Whitlock
Coach, beginner boxing
Twenty years in amateur boxing and the calmest voice in the room. Dean takes most first-timers through their opening weeks.

How coaching is organised.
Classes are always coach-led rather than follow-along. If you want focused work, one-to-one pad sessions can be booked with any coach.

- Step 1Train in general classes and meet the coaching team.

Yes, with any coach, subject to availability. Sessions run forty-five minutes.
Are the coaches insured and qualified?
Every coach holds a current national governing body qualification, first aid and insurance.
