What SiteMorphix Free does

SiteMorphix Free is a focused responsive website testing extension. It opens in Chrome's side panel, measures the active webpage and helps you open calibrated viewport previews for common phone, tablet, laptop and desktop sizes.

Requirements

  • Google Chrome 116 or newer for Free responsive testing.
  • Google Chrome 138 or newer for Pro live on-device translation.
  • A regular HTTP or HTTPS webpage.
  • Website access permission for normal HTTP and HTTPS pages, granted when SiteMorphix is installed.

Chrome protects internal pages such as chrome://, Chrome Web Store pages and some other browser-controlled surfaces from extension scripting. This is expected behavior.

Install from Chrome Web Store

  1. Open the SiteMorphix Chrome Web Store listing.

    When the listing is published, use the official Store link shown on the SiteMorphix product page.

  2. Choose Add to Chrome.

    Review the permissions shown by Chrome and confirm the installation.

  3. Pin SiteMorphix if desired.

    Use Chrome's Extensions menu to keep the SiteMorphix icon visible in the toolbar.

Test a website

  1. Open the webpage you want to test.

    Use the real page rather than a Chrome internal page.

  2. Click the SiteMorphix toolbar icon.

    This opens the side panel. SiteMorphix uses the HTTP and HTTPS site access granted at installation, so a second per-tab permission grant is not required on normal websites.

  3. Choose Portrait or Landscape.

    Select the orientation you want to review.

  4. Select a device preset.

    SiteMorphix calibrates the Chrome window so the page content area closely matches the selected CSS viewport.

  • Repair result states: Verified Fixed, Improved, Applied - manual review needed, and Issue remains.
  • Bootstrap compatibility checks and preview workflow.
  • Live device preview with Auto, LTR or RTL direction.
  • Live translated device preview for supported Chrome Translator API language pairs.
  • Developer exports including audit JSON, responsive CSS starters, translation dictionaries, Bootstrap migration notes, RTL/LTR starters and HTML setup guidance.

Live translation requires Chrome 138 or newer. Chrome may download an on-device language pack the first time a supported language pair is used. This is a browser model download, not an extra SiteMorphix permission prompt.

Important limitation

SiteMorphix Free tests responsive layout. It does not fully emulate physical mobile hardware, touch sensors, browser user-agent differences, network throttling or every device-specific browser behavior. The calibrated preview is intended for front-end responsive QA.

Privacy

SiteMorphix Free handles the active page information needed for its responsive testing function locally in the browser and does not send active-page URLs, titles or analysis results to AdnanThemes servers in the current 1.0.0 Free build.
