How to use this page

Each entry below names one WordPress admin screen, shows its menu path, explains what it does in the installed Washlora code and gives a short recommended procedure, including what to check afterwards. Work through the entries in order the first time you set up a site, then return to single entries when you need them.

Exact menu names, field labels and buttons on this page follow the installed Washlora 2.0.0 code (theme Washlora, plugins Washlora Core and Washlora Native Layouts). Standard WordPress and WooCommerce screens (Pages, Products, Menus, Settings, Payments) are described only where Washlora adds to them. Where Washlora 2.0.0 has no dedicated control for something, this page says so rather than guessing.

Before you begin, make a database and file backup. Several screens below change your front page, menus, permalinks or saved options.

1. Themes

Path: Appearance → Themes

The standard WordPress theme screen. Washlora appears as Washlora (version 2.0.0, requires WordPress 6.6 and PHP 8.0). If your download also includes a Washlora child theme, activate the child theme only when you plan to override templates.

  1. Confirm your site runs WordPress 6.6 or newer and PHP 8.0 or newer.
  2. Upload the installable theme ZIP with Add Theme → Upload Theme, or copy the theme folder to wp-content/themes.
  3. Click Activate on Washlora (or on the child theme, if you use one).
  4. Read the notice that appears at the top of the admin. It lists missing plugins (see the next entry).
  5. Open Appearance → Washlora Setup to check the plugin status table.
  6. Visit the front end once to confirm the theme loads without PHP errors.

2. Required plugins notice

Path: Admin notice shown on admin screens after activating the theme (visible to users who can activate plugins)

The theme prints a blue information notice starting with Washlora setup:. It checks whether each plugin folder exists in wp-content/plugins (installed, not necessarily active). Washlora Core is the only plugin marked required. The notice also lists the recommended plugins that are missing: Elementor, WPBakery Page Builder, Classic Editor, Smart Slider 3, Slider Revolution, Master Slider, WooCommerce and Contact Form 7. The notice disappears when nothing on the list is missing.

  1. Open Plugins → Add New Plugin or Plugins → Installed Plugins.
  2. Install and activate Washlora Core first. It is required.
  3. Install and activate Washlora Native Layouts, WooCommerce, Contact Form 7 and the free WordPress Importer. The niche importer refuses to run without them, even though only Washlora Core is marked required in the notice.
  4. Install only the page editors and slider plugins you intend to use (Elementor, WPBakery, Classic Editor and the slider plugins).
  5. Reload an admin screen and confirm the notice is gone or lists only plugins you have chosen not to use.

3. Washlora Setup

Path: Appearance → Washlora Setup

A read-only status table for the plugins the theme knows about. It opens with a note that Washlora supports Gutenberg, Elementor, WPBakery and Classic Editor workflows. The table has three columns: Plugin, Role (Required or Optional / Demo feature) and Status (Active, Installed or Not installed). It has no buttons and saves nothing. Available to users who can manage options.

  1. Open the screen after activating the theme and after every plugin change.
  2. Check that Washlora Core shows Active in the Required row.
  3. For each optional plugin you plan to use, make sure the status is Active, not just Installed.
  4. Use Plugins to install or activate anything missing, then reload this screen.
  5. Continue to Appearance → Import a niche once the status is correct.

4. Import a niche

Path: Appearance → Import a niche

Imports one laundry niche from the bundled catalogue using the official WordPress Importer. The screen heading is Import a laundry niche. One import brings the niche's three home layouts in four editor versions, its pages, products and media. Nothing is imported until you click the button. Requires the Manage options and Import capabilities.

Fields and controls

  1. Activate Washlora Native Layouts, WooCommerce, Contact Form 7 and WordPress Importer. Without them the screen reports an error instead of importing.
  2. Prefer a fresh installation or a staging copy, and take a backup.
  3. Choose one Niche. Leave Download demo images ticked unless you will add your own images.
  4. Tick the homepage option only if you want the imported Gutenberg Home 1 as your front page.
  5. Click Import selected niche and wait. The import can take several minutes.
  6. Read the Import log for failed media downloads and the notice that reports how many home and editor versions were processed.
  7. Check Pages, Appearance → Menus (a menu named Laundry: your niche name is created) and Settings → Reading. Pages you have edited since a previous import are preserved on a repeat import.

5. Niche list in the importer

Path: Appearance → Import a niche → Niche drop-down

The niche list is the Niche drop-down on the importer. It reads the bundled catalogue (105 niches in this release) and shows each niche by name. It is not a separate table screen. After an import, the niche is added to the site's list of imported niches; that list feeds the Niche identity, Niche design, Import Washlora Demo and AI Website Generator drop-downs. Those drop-downs only show niches you have imported.

  1. Choose the niche closest to your business; you can import more than one later.
  2. Import it with Import selected niche.
  3. Open Appearance → Niche identity and confirm the niche now appears in its drop-down.
  4. If the niche list on the importer is empty, the catalogue files are missing; reinstall Washlora Core.
  5. Repeat for each additional niche, one at a time.

6. Import Washlora Demo

Path: Appearance → Import Washlora Demo

The one-click demo screen, headed Washlora One-Click Demo. It takes a niche you have already imported, builds or selects the home page for the chosen editor and layout, makes it the static front page and, when a menu is recorded for that niche, assigns it to the primary menu location. Requires the Edit theme options capability.

Fields and controls

  1. Back up the site. This screen changes the static front page and the primary menu location.
  2. Import the niche first with Import a niche, otherwise the niche list here is empty.
  3. Choose Builder, Laundry niche and Homepage layout.
  4. Click Import Washlora Demo and wait for the success notice.
  5. Open Settings → Reading and confirm the selected static homepage.
  6. Check the primary menu and every service and contact link on the front end.

7. Demo Setup

Path: Appearance → Demo Setup

When the niche catalogue is present, Demo Setup opens the same screen as Import a niche, so follow entry 4. Only if the catalogue is missing does it show the older fallback page, headed Washlora Demo Setup, with two buttons: Import Full Washlora Demo (imports the bundled content.xml and media.xml, then runs the finalizer) and Run Demo Finalizer Only.

The finalizer assigns the page named Demos as the front page, the page named Blog as the posts page, the WooCommerce Shop, Cart, Checkout and My Account pages, and the menu named Primary Menu. It also sets the permalink structure to /%postname%/ and turns off WooCommerce coming-soon mode. It writes the result to a notice on the screen.

  1. Open Appearance → Demo Setup and look at the heading.
  2. If it reads Import a laundry niche, use the niche import procedure.
  3. If it reads Washlora Demo Setup, install the free WordPress Importer first and back up the site.
  4. Click Import Full Washlora Demo, or Run Demo Finalizer Only if the content already exists.
  5. Read the notice for any item listed as missing (for example a Demos or Primary Menu entry).
  6. Check Settings → Reading, Settings → Permalinks and Appearance → Menus.

8. Niche identity

Path: Appearance → Niche identity

Edits the shared branding and contact details of one imported niche. The values appear in that niche's header, footer and native sections. The palette is applied to the niche's pages as colour variables. Homepage and inner-page sections are not edited here; use the page editor. Requires the Edit theme options capability.

Fields and controls

KontrolMeaning
Niche drop-down + Choose nicheLoads the identity of another imported niche.
Brand, TaglineBusiness name and short line shown beside the logo mark.
Phone, Email, Hours, AreaContact and service-area details used in the niche header and footer.
AboutShort company text used in the niche footer.
Primary, Dark, Accent, Soft, Ink colour pickersThe five palette colours of the niche.
Save identitySaves and shows Niche identity saved.
  1. Import the niche first so it appears in the drop-down.
  2. Select the niche and click Choose niche.
  3. Replace the sample Brand, Tagline, Phone, Email, Hours, Area and About with real details.
  4. Set the five palette colours, keeping enough contrast between text and background.
  5. Click Save identity and wait for the success notice.
  6. Open the niche home page and an inner page on the front end; check the header, footer and button colours. Clear any page or CDN cache if the old colours remain.

9. Niche design

Path: Appearance → Niche design

Sets the shared presentation of one imported niche across all four editor versions of its pages. Section layouts and order are still changed in the page editor. Requires the Edit theme options capability.

Fields and controls

  1. Select the niche and click Choose niche.
  2. Pick the Presentation that best suits your business.
  3. Adjust width, radius and spacing, staying inside the printed ranges.
  4. Click Save design.
  5. Check one page in each editor version you use, on desktop and mobile.

10. Design Studio

Path: Washlora AI Studio → Design Studio

A global design form (heading Washlora Design Studio) that saves into the laundryes_options settings through Ajax. Requires the Edit theme options capability. In the installed 2.0.0 code, the colour values and body background are written to the front end as CSS variables and body colours; the other controls are saved with the settings, so check each one on the front end. Niche pages take their palette and header/footer design from Niche identity.

Fields and controls

  1. Open Washlora AI Studio → Design Studio and note the starting values.
  2. Set the five colours first.
  3. Set the other controls you need.
  4. Click Save Design and wait for the confirmation text.
  5. Reload a non-niche page and a niche page on the front end and check which settings changed.
  6. Use Niche identity and Niche design for per-niche looks.

11. AI Website Generator

Path: Washlora AI Studio → AI Website Generator

A local, template-based generator (screen heading Washlora Website Generator). It uses no API key and no external AI service. It assembles new draft pages from the editable templates of your imported niches. It never changes your existing pages, menu locations or homepage. Requires the Edit theme options and Edit pages capabilities.

Fields and controls

  1. Import the niche first. If its editable home template is not installed, the plan fails with a message.
  2. Activate Washlora Native Layouts, and Elementor or WPBakery if you choose them.
  3. Fill in the form. Mention booking, pricing, FAQ, tracking, branches, commercial or recurring pickup in the requirements to add those pages when templates exist.
  4. Click 1. Preview website plan and read the page list and warnings. A plan expires after 30 minutes; if you change the form, preview again.
  5. Click 2. Create editable drafts. Each result row has Edit and Preview links.
  6. Replace the sample details, prices and copy in every draft, then publish. The generated menu is not assigned to a location automatically.
  7. Use Undo this batch only while all drafts are still drafts.

12. AI Theme Assistant

Path: Washlora AI Studio → AI Theme Assistant

A theme-limited administrator assistant (heading Washlora AI Theme Assistant) with a message box and a Send button (Ctrl+Enter also sends). It answers from built-in text about Washlora, or applies a command directly to the saved settings. It does not call an external service. The last 100 exchanges are logged. Requires the Edit theme options capability.

Commands it applies

  1. Take a settings backup first; commands save immediately.
  2. Type one command per message, for example set primary color to #2563eb.
  3. Click Send and read the reply that begins Applied:.
  4. Ask a question (for example about builders or sliders) to get an informational answer.
  5. Check the result in Washlora AI Studio → Design Studio and on the front end.
  6. Keep this screen restricted to administrators.

13. Customize (Washlora Customizer sections)

Path: Appearance → Customize

The theme adds Customizer sections for basic business details. Washlora Header: Show top bar, Phone, Email, Header button label (default Schedule Pickup) and Header button URL. Washlora Colors: Primary, Secondary, Footer Bg and Footer Text Color. Washlora Footer: Copyright text, Business address and Opening hours. A Washlora shop section sets the shop pages: Shop heading, Shop introduction, Brand name, Header message, Footer heading, Footer description and Shop accent. Niche pages use their own header and footer from Niche identity.

  1. Open Appearance → Customize.
  2. Fill Washlora Header with your real phone, email and button.
  3. Set the colours and footer details.
  4. Open a shop page in the preview and set the Washlora shop fields.
  5. Click Publish and check a normal page and a shop page on the front end.

14. Pages list

Path: Pages → All Pages

The standard WordPress page list. After a niche import, every niche home page exists in several versions (three home layouts in four editor versions), plus inner pages. Titles and slugs show the niche and the editor, for example a slug ending in -gutenberg, -elementor, -wpbakery or -classic. The one-click demo creates pages titled with the niche name and the editor. The generator creates draft pages titled Business name | Home, | About and so on. Each version is a separate page, not a conversion of another.

  1. Open Pages → All Pages and search for your niche name.
  2. Choose one editor and use only that editor's versions.
  3. Open the version you want and edit it in its own editor (see entries 35 to 38).
  4. Trash the versions you will never use only after you have confirmed that no menu or link points to them.
  5. Publish, then set the front page in Settings → Reading.

15. Services

Path: Services → All Services (post type laundry_service)

The public Services content type. Each service has a title, editor content, featured image, excerpt and an Order value (page attributes). Its Service Details box has two text fields: Starting price and Price unit (placeholder: per kg, per item, per bag). Services appear on the site through the [laundryes_services limit="6" columns="3"] shortcode and the native sections, sorted by Order and then newest. The Classic Templates screen is also under this menu.

  1. Open Services → All Services and review the imported demo services.
  2. Edit each one: title, description, excerpt and featured image.
  3. Type your real Starting price and Price unit. The price is free text and appears exactly as typed, including the currency.
  4. Use Order to set the display order.
  5. Update, then view the page that shows the services. On imported niche pages the lists are limited to records tagged for that niche; if a new service is missing from a niche page, check this first.

16. Pricing Packages

Path: Pricing Packages → All Pricing Packages (post type laundry_package)

Pricing on the content side is stored in Pricing Packages and in Services. The Package Details box has Price, Billing label (placeholder: per month, per order) and a Featured package checkbox. Prices are stored as typed text. Packages show through [laundryes_packages limit="3" columns="3"]. Prices of orderable services live in WooCommerce products. The [laundryes_weight_pricing rate="2.5" minimum="10"] shortcode is a visitor-side estimate and does not create orders.

  1. Open Pricing Packages and review the sample packages.
  2. Edit title, description and image.
  3. Set Price and Billing label; tick Featured package for at most one highlighted plan.
  4. Set Order in Page Attributes to arrange the cards.
  5. Compare each package with the matching WooCommerce product price so that both agree.
  6. Check the pricing page on the front end.

17. Testimonials

Path: Testimonials → All Testimonials (post type laundry_testimonial)

Customer quotes shown with [laundryes_testimonials]. The Customer Details box has Customer subtitle (for example Homeowner) and Rating (1 to 5).

  1. Replace the sample testimonials with real, permitted customer feedback.
  2. Enter the subtitle and a rating from 1 to 5.
  3. Add a featured image if you have permission.
  4. Check the reviews section on the front end.

18. FAQs

Path: FAQs → All FAQs (post type laundry_faq)

Questions and answers shown with [laundryes_faqs limit="6" columns="2"]. The title is the question and the editor content is the answer.

  1. Write the title as the customer's question.
  2. Write a clear answer in the editor; mention real turnaround, coverage and prices.
  3. Use Order for the sequence.
  4. Check the FAQ section on the front end.

19. Bookings

Path: Bookings (post type laundry_booking, label Bookings)

Stores booking requests sent by the booking form and booking records created from WooCommerce orders that include pickup details. The entry title is built from the customer name and pickup date (for form requests) or Order #N booking. The edit screen supports only the title; the submitted details (name, email, phone, service, pickup and delivery date and window, address, notes, niche and a status that starts as new) are stored in post meta keys beginning _laundryes_booking_. Washlora 2.0.0 does not show them on the edit screen, and the code contains no booking email notification. A request is not a confirmed order.

  1. Submit a test request from the booking page with your own details.
  2. Open Bookings and confirm a new entry appears with the expected title.
  3. Define how your team will read the stored details and answer the customer, because the edit screen does not display them.
  4. Test your own notification or follow-up process separately.
  5. Remove test entries before launch.

20. Pickup Slots

Path: Pickup Slots (post type laundry_slot)

Defines the choices listed by the [laundryes_slot_selector] shortcode. Each entry has a title and custom fields support. The selector lists published slots (up to 50, by Order) as Choose pickup slot options with the number left, and hides a slot when its booked count reaches its capacity. Capacity and booked values are stored in the protected meta keys _laundry_capacity and _laundry_booked, which the standard Custom Fields panel does not display. The code never increases the booked count automatically.

  1. Open Pickup Slots and review the existing entries.
  2. Give each slot a clear title such as a weekday and time window.
  3. Remember that slots have no Order field; they are listed in their stored order.
  4. Place the slot selector on a test page and confirm the options appear.
  5. Do not promise a guaranteed courier slot; booking dates are requests.

21. Garment Items

Path: Garment Items (post type laundry_garment)

Tracking records for physical garments. When a WooCommerce order is placed, Washlora creates one entry per ordered unit, titled with a random tag such as LG- followed by 32 characters. Each stores the tag code, order, order item and a status that starts as received. The tracker shortcode shows the status as Received, Cleaning, Ready or Delivered. The edit screen has the title and a featured image; the status values live in the protected meta key _laundry_status. The [laundryes_garment_tracker] shortcode reveals status only, not order details.

  1. Place a test order and open Garment Items.
  2. Confirm the right number of entries was created for the quantities ordered.
  3. Put the tag code on the physical garment label.
  4. Put the tracker shortcode on a page and test it with one code.
  5. Agree how your team will update status, since the edit screen has no status control.

22. Delivery Routes

Path: Delivery Routes (post type laundry_route)

Named routes (title only, plus custom fields support) for organising deliveries. The helper that assigns a driver and a route to a WooCommerce order stores their IDs on the order; Washlora 2.0.0 has no admin button for it. Use routes as an internal list and as a record for developers.

  1. Add one route per delivery area or round, with a clear name.
  2. Keep route names consistent with the branch and driver names.
  3. Review the list whenever your coverage changes.
  4. Do not publish route names to customers unless you intend to.

23. Branches

Path: Branches (post type laundry_branch)

Public content type for store locations (title, editor, featured image, excerpt, custom fields). The branch grid shows image, title and the address, phone and hours values. The postcode checker maps postcodes from each branch to its title; the delivery zones list shows zones and fee. Those values are stored in protected meta keys _laundry_address, _laundry_phone, _laundry_hours, _laundry_postcodes, _laundry_delivery_zones and _laundry_delivery_fee. The standard Custom Fields panel does not show them.

  1. Open Branches and review the sample branch entries.
  2. Rename them to your real locations and add a photograph and description.
  3. Check the stored address, phone, hours, postcodes and fees with your developer if you need to change them.
  4. View the branches page and the postcode checker on the front end.
  5. Remove sample branches you do not operate.

24. Drivers

Path: Drivers (post type laundry_driver)

Internal driver profiles (title, featured image, custom fields support). The driver status shortcode shows the driver's name, photo, phone (from the protected meta key _laundry_driver_phone) and the delivery status of an order. It shows Driver assignment pending when no driver is stored on the order.

  1. Add drivers only with their consent to be shown.
  2. Use a professional photo and first name as the title.
  3. Test the driver status shortcode with one test order before showing it.
  4. Remove sample drivers.

25. Commercial Quotes

Path: Commercial Quotes (post type laundry_quote)

Stores requests from the commercial quote form. The title is the company name plus date and time. Email, estimated weekly volume and requirements are stored in the meta keys _laundry_email, _laundry_volume and _laundry_notes. The edit screen shows only the title, so read the stored values through your own reporting or developer. Quote-only WooCommerce services link to a separate enquiry page (see the Products entry).

  1. Submit a test commercial quote and check a new entry appears.
  2. Decide who reads and answers quotes and how quickly.
  3. Protect customer data and delete test entries.
  4. Review the form wording and privacy notice before launch.

26. Recurring Pickups

Path: Recurring Pickups (post type laundry_subscription)

Stores recurring pickup requests. A request takes name, email, frequency (weekly, every 2 weeks or monthly) and pickup address, and creates an entry titled name and frequency. Logged-in customers can pause or resume a plan they own with [laundryes_subscription_control]. Washlora does not bill recurring pickups or reserve courier capacity; plan those separately.

  1. Submit a test request on the recurring pickup form.
  2. Open Recurring Pickups and check the entry title.
  3. Define how you confirm schedule and price with the customer.
  4. Delete test entries and review the privacy notice on the form.

27. Popups

Path: Popups (post type laundryes_popup)

Pop-up messages with a title and editor content. On the front end the theme shows the first published popup whose protected setting _adt_enabled equals 1, after the delay in _adt_delay seconds. Closing it sets a 7-day cookie. Washlora 2.0.0 has no checkbox for these two settings on the edit screen, so a new popup does not appear until they are stored.

  1. Write short, useful popup content in the editor.
  2. Publish it and have your developer or an import set the enabled and delay values.
  3. Open the site in a private window and confirm it appears once and closes.
  4. Check it does not cover the cookie or booking controls on mobile.

28. Washlora Service settings

Path: Settings → Washlora Service

The page Washlora Service Settings holds three options used by [laundryes_service_area_checker] and [laundryes_turnaround]. It does not include the express surcharge, which is a separate stored option.

Fields and controls

  1. Enter the postcodes or ZIP codes you really serve.
  2. Replace both turnaround texts with promises you can keep.
  3. Click Save Changes.
  4. Test the area checker with a covered and an uncovered code.
  5. Check the turnaround block on the front end.

29. Products list

Path: Products → All Products

Laundry services you can order are normal WooCommerce products. Washlora adds fields to the General tab of Product data. Service and care details (each a text box): Price unit, Typical turnaround, What is included, Before collection, Care limitations. They appear in a Service & care details tab. Quote-only options: Quote-only service, Enquiry page ID and Garment care guide. A quote-only product cannot be bought and shows Priced after assessment with a link to the enquiry page.

  1. Open Products → All Products and review imported services and prices.
  2. Edit each product: name, image, price and description.
  3. Fill the service and care fields on the General tab.
  4. For services that need assessment, tick Quote-only service and enter a published page ID in Enquiry page ID.
  5. Add optional add-on services under Linked Products → Cross-sells.
  6. Open the product on the front end and check price, tabs and add to cart.

30. Washlora shopping (WooCommerce)

Path: WooCommerce → Settings → Products → Washlora shopping

The Commerce Experience section. Title: Washlora shopping experience. It has six checkboxes, all on by default: Service option buttons, Recently viewed services, Grid and list switching, Related service add-ons, Customer account shortcuts and Price units. Add-ons come from each product's cross-sells.

  1. Open WooCommerce → Settings → Products and click the Washlora shopping link.
  2. Untick features you do not want.
  3. Click Save changes.
  4. Check a product page (units, add-ons, recently viewed) and the shop page.
  5. Check My account for the dashboard shortcuts.

31. Payments (WooCommerce)

Path: WooCommerce → Settings → Payments

Washlora does not add a payment gateway and the importers enable none. Payments follow WooCommerce and your chosen provider. Washlora adds optional order fields to the Checkout block: Preferred pickup date (YYYY-MM-DD, not in the past), Preferred pickup window, Care preference and Laundry care instructions. Order data also creates Garment Items.

  1. Open WooCommerce → Settings → Payments and set up a gateway with your provider's instructions.
  2. Complete the store address, currency and tax settings first.
  3. Run a test order in sandbox or test mode.
  4. Check the extra order fields and Garment Items on the test order.
  5. Switch to live mode only after a full test.

32. Menus

Path: Appearance → Menus

Theme locations: Primary Menu, Footer Menu, Shop navigation and Shop footer navigation. Each niche import creates a menu named Laundry: niche name that niche pages use automatically in place of the primary menu. For a mega menu, add the CSS class mega-menu to a top-level item (turn on CSS Classes in Screen Options); its children become column headings and the next level becomes the links. This applies to the primary location only.

  1. Open Appearance → Menus and check the niche menu created by the import.
  2. Rename items and fix links to your real pages.
  3. Assign menus in Manage Locations or the Menu Settings box.
  4. For a mega menu, set the CSS class and a three-level structure.
  5. Click Save Menu and test on desktop and mobile.

33. Reading

Path: Settings → Reading

Controls which page is the homepage. The importers can set it for you, so always confirm. Use Your homepage displays → A static page, pick a Homepage and a Posts page.

  1. Open Settings → Reading after any import.
  2. Select A static page.
  3. Choose the home version in your editor and a blog page if you publish posts.
  4. Click Save Changes.
  5. Visit the site address to verify the homepage.

34. General

Path: Settings → General

Set Site Title, Tagline, address, email and Timezone. Pickup dates are checked against the site timezone, and the Site Title is used in structured data and in the maintenance message.

  1. Enter your real Site Title and Tagline.
  2. Select your timezone by city.
  3. Check the administration email address.
  4. Click Save Changes.

35. Block editor

Path: Pages → All Pages → Edit (Gutenberg version)

Gutenberg pages use the Washlora Section block (Design category). On the canvas: Eyebrow, Heading, Section text, Choose main image, Button label, Card / question title, Card / answer text, Add card / question and Remove card. In the sidebar, Layout & links: Layout, Colour treatment, Button URL, Section ID, Main image and Inset image; and a collapsed Service component panel with Component name and Component settings.

  1. Open the Gutenberg version of your page.
  2. Select a Washlora Section block.
  3. Edit text and images, then choose a layout and a colour treatment in the sidebar.
  4. Use List View to reorder whole sections. Keep one H1 in the hero.
  5. Keep functional sections such as booking in place.
  6. Update and check the page on desktop and mobile.

36. Elementor editing screen

Path: Pages → All Pages → Edit with Elementor (Elementor version)

Elementor pages use the Washlora Section widget in the General category. Controls in Section content: Eyebrow, Heading, Text, Button label, Section ID, Button link, Main image, Inset image, Layout, Colour treatment, Cards / questions (each with Card / question title and Card / answer text), Service component and Service component settings. Requires Elementor.

  1. Activate Elementor and Washlora Native Layouts.
  2. Open the Elementor version of the page.
  3. Select the widget and edit its content.
  4. Reorder widgets in Navigator.
  5. Click Update and check the front end. If styles look stale, regenerate Elementor CSS and clear caches.

37. WPBakery editing screen

Path: Pages → All Pages → Backend or Frontend Editor (WPBakery version)

WPBakery pages use the Washlora Section element (category Washlora) with Eyebrow, Heading, Text, Button label, Button link, Section ID, Main image, Inset image, Layout, Colour treatment, Cards / questions, Service component and Service component settings. Washlora booking and cart elements are in the Washlora category.

  1. Activate WPBakery and Washlora Native Layouts.
  2. Open the WPBakery version of the page.
  3. Edit the Washlora Section element.
  4. Move the whole row or element to reorder.
  5. Save and preview. Raw shortcode text means a required plugin is not active.

38. Classic Editor editing screen

Path: Pages → All Pages → Edit (Classic version)

Classic pages show a box called Washlora page sections (visual controls) below the content area, only on pages created as the Classic version.
