These are shared with permission, and names are used only where the family agreed. Nobody was paid or asked to say anything in particular.

I stopped after primary school because there was nothing for girls near us. Now I train twice a week and I have run at county level twice.

How we handle consent.

Nobody has to tell their story to receive support, and no story is used in fundraising without written permission from the family.

  • Names used only where the family agreed
  • Consent can be withdrawn at any time
  • No child is asked to describe their circumstances

Were people paid to take part?

No. Nobody receives payment or preferential support for sharing a story.

Are the photographs of the real people?

Photographs are used with consent, and stock imagery is clearly separated in the annual report.

Can a family withdraw a story?

Yes, at any time and without giving a reason.
