HITTING LAB · PITCHING LAB · POSITION WORK

Measure the skill. Build the player.

A performance studio for athletes who need useful video, clear targets and game-speed transfer rather than random repetitions.

PERFORMANCE MODULES

Four labs around the demands of the game.

01

Hitting Lab

Contact quality, swing decisions, bat path and game-speed pitch recognition.

02

Pitching Lab

Delivery efficiency, command, pitch design and workload-aware development.

03

Position Lab

First-step reads, footwork, transfer speed, throwing accuracy and communication.

04

Game IQ Lab

Counts, situations, base-running decisions and defensive responsibility.

EVALUATION

Useful numbers, not a wall of data.

Measurements should explain what changed and what to practise next. The demo studio uses concise reports rather than ranking every player against one another.

  • Video from useful angles
  • Small set of repeatable measures
  • Position and age context
  • One clear training priority

EIGHT-WEEK BLOCK

Build, apply, compete and review.

1–2

Baseline

Assess mechanics, decisions and workload.

3–4

Build

Repeat the priority with clear constraints.

5–6

Game speed

Add reads, timing and competitive pressure.

7–8

Review

Retest, compare and set the next block.

PLAYER DASHBOARD

Track progress without turning development into a scoreboard.

Hitting

Contact quality, decision discipline and repeatable preparation.

Pitching

Command, delivery repeatability and readiness for the next workload.

Defence

First-step quality, transfer speed and game communication.

TRANSFER

Every measure must return to the field.

Studio work only matters when the player can prepare, decide and execute during real innings.

PERFORMANCE QUESTIONS

Know what the lab can and cannot do.

Does video analysis guarantee improvement?

No. Video supports coaching, but progress still depends on suitable practice and consistent application.

Can young pitchers use the pitching lab?

Yes, when intensity and volume are matched to age, history and current readiness.

Is equipment fitting included?

Basic equipment observations may be discussed. Professional fitting and sales belong outside the theme demo.
