- Identify raw, washed, coated or embellished denim and describe the finish you want to retain. Care labels and previous washing history are useful when discussing colour transfer, fading or surface treatments.
- Care limitations
- Can raw denim join a normal jeans wash?
Ask for a separate assessment. Colour behaviour and the owner's preferred finish may differ, so a routine mixed denim request is not enough.
